☞ It deals with equations with multiple unknown values.
☞ It is used to find out an optimal value(maximum, minimum or a certain value) from the given data set by considering certain constraints.
☞ Lets see an example to understand this.
Step 1 : Place the cursor in formula cell.
Step 2 : Tools Menu → Solver option
Step 3 : Solver dialog box will be displayed → Fill thecells whose value need to be changed→ set desired limiting condition→ solve button
Step 4 : Solving Result pop-up → Keep Result/Restore Previous button
